Article 1 (Purpose)
The purpose of these terms and conditions is to define the rights, obligations, and all other relevant matters between the members, Kona I Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”), and RedTable Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Partner”) concerning the use of the Korea Travel Card, which is jointly issued by the Company and the Partner.For reference, the terms and conditions for electronic financial transactions follow the terms and conditions of KONA I, the payment system operator.
[Kona I Transaction Terms and Conditions]
Article 2 (Definitions of Terms)
① The definitions of terms used in these terms and conditions are as follows:1. “Korea Travel Card” (hereinafter referred to as the "Card") refers to a physical card (with an embedded IC chip) issued by the Company that stores monetary value electronically (hereinafter referred to as “charging”) and can be presented at domestic and international affiliated merchants to pay for goods or services. This includes both the physical card (a prepaid electronic payment instrument) and the related card information.
2. “Member” refers to an individual who applies for the Card and agrees to these terms and conditions, then uses the Card.
3. “Affiliated Merchant” refers to an entity that provides goods or services to users in transactions using prepaid electronic payment instruments under a contract with the Company or the Partner.
4. “Korea Travel Card App” refers to the website, application, or software operated by the Partner that allows members to use the services related to the Korea Travel Card issued by the Company on mobile devices or other platforms.
② Definitions of terms not specified in this Article shall follow the Electronic Financial Transaction Terms and Conditions, related laws, and general commercial practices.
Article 3 (Issuance of the Card)
① Members can apply for the Card through the card application menu within the Korea Travel Card App. The eligibility for card issuance may be determined separately by the Company.② When applying for the Card, the member must set a card password and sign in the designated signature area of the card upon receipt. The member must not allow any third party to store or possess the card or use it.
Article 4 (Annual Fees and Service Charges)
① The Company may charge members an annual fee, card issuance fee, reissuance fee, overseas usage fee, service usage fee, and other applicable fees. These fees may vary depending on the card type, reason for issuance, etc. The fees applicable to the card and services can be found in the Korea Travel Card App and on the Company’s website.② When the Company charges members fees as outlined in Clause 1, the Company and the Partner must inform the member of the fee details and amounts in advance and obtain consent. If the member refuses to pay the fees, card issuance may be denied or service usage restricted.
③ If a member cancels the card within one year of paying the annual fee, the Company will refund the prorated remaining amount after deducting the costs incurred for card issuance and service provision.
④ Details regarding charging fees or refund-related fees will be provided to members through the Korea Travel Card App. However, if new fees are introduced or existing fees are changed, the changes will be announced at least one month in advance via the Korea Travel Card App, and members will be notified via text message or KakaoTalk notifications.
Article 5 (Card Expiration, Renewal, Reissuance, and Additional Issuance)
① The card's validity period is up to 10 years from the date of issuance. The Company may change the validity period within the limits set by law, and in such cases, members will be notified via the Korea Travel Card App and through text messages or KakaoTalk notifications in advance. The validity period will be indicated on the physical card or can be found in the product details within the Korea Travel Card App or website. Members may only use the card within its validity period unless the Company permits continued use of an expired card.② If a member requests reissuance due to card loss or damage during the card’s validity period, the Company may reissue the card. A reissuance fee may be charged to the member for reissuing the card.
③ The Company or Partner will notify members at least three times—30, 20, and 10 days before the expiration of the card’s validity period—through the Korea Travel Card App and via text messages or KakaoTalk notifications, informing them of the impending expiration, reissuance plans, the possibility and method of extending the validity period, and the option to receive a refund of 90% of the remaining balance after the expiration. If there is no objection from the member, a new card with the updated validity period will be issued.
④ Once a card is reissued due to expiration, the member must dispose of the old card, as it will no longer be usable.
⑤ Even if the card’s validity period has not expired, if card services must be suspended due to legal changes or orders from government or supervisory agencies, the Company or Partner will notify members at least one month in advance via the Korea Travel Card App and website and through text messages or KakaoTalk notifications. However, if urgent legal changes prevent adherence to the minimum notification period, members will be notified as soon as the changes are known.
Article 6 (Use of the Card)
① After receiving the issued card, the member must register the card in the Korea Travel Card App in order to use it. The registered card can also be deactivated through the card management menu in the app. However, if there is a balance on the card, the member must first request a refund of the remaining balance before deactivating it.② Members may request to charge their card balance through the methods provided by the Company in the Korea Travel Card App. The Company may charge a fee for charging the card, and members may cancel the charge within seven days of the charging date to receive a full refund of the charge amount and any associated fees.
③ Members may request a refund of the card balance through the Korea Travel Card App in the manner provided by the Company. A fee for processing the refund may be charged, and members will receive the remaining balance minus the refund fee.
④ In any of the following cases, the Company must refund the full remaining balance without deducting any fees:
1. The card cannot be used due to force majeure (e.g., natural disasters) that make it impossible to provide goods or services through the service.
2. Goods or services cannot be provided due to a defect in the card.
3. If more than 60% of the card’s balance (or more than 80% for balances under 10,000 KRW) has been used after the last charge, the member may request a refund.
⑤ Depending on the type of card, members may use the card to pay for goods or services at the Company’s domestic and international affiliated merchants or at affiliated merchants of the Partner.
⑥ When using the card at an affiliated merchant, the member must present the card and sign the receipt with a signature that matches the one on the card. In cases of online payments (e-commerce, telecommerce), the signature requirement may be waived if the affiliated merchant has other methods to verify the member’s identity or if the responsibility for any damages due to the absence of a signature is assumed by the card issuer and the merchant.
⑦ Members are prohibited from engaging in any of the following actions while using the card:
1. Transferring or accepting the card from a third party.
2. Lending or delegating the use of the card to a third party.
3. Using the card as collateral or for other security purposes.
4. Promoting any of the actions mentioned in items 1 to 3.
⑧ The use of the card may be suspended in any of the following cases, and the Company or Partner will notify members in advance through the Korea Travel Card App of the reason, time, and duration of the suspension. However, if prior notice is impossible due to uncontrollable factors such as facility failure, the member will be notified afterward:
1. In the event of a power outage, facility failure, or excessive usage causing disruptions to the normal use of the card.
2. When maintenance, repairs, or development work is necessary to ensure the normal provision of services.
3. When the Company cannot maintain the service due to contract termination with a partner or other operational, business, or legal obstacles.
4. In the event of force majeure, such as a natural disaster or national emergency.
⑨ The Company may restrict the use of the card under the following circumstances until the issue is resolved, and the Company or Partner will notify members in advance via the Korea Travel Card App and through text messages or KakaoTalk notifications. If prior notification is not possible, members will be notified afterward:
1. When false information is provided during membership registration or card application.
2. If there is a reasonable suspicion that the card is being used for fraudulent or abnormal transactions.
3. In cases of card loss or theft.
4. When the card password is entered incorrectly more than five times in the Korea Travel Card App.
5. If the member's account linked to the Korea Travel Card App is reported as a compromised account, is subject to legal restrictions, or faces payment restrictions imposed by the financial institution or the Company.
6. When a member withdraws from the Korea Travel Card App.
7. When the legal guardian of a minor member requests suspension of transactions.
8. If there are concerns about potential damages to the member due to hacking or similar events.
⑩ Members can request to terminate the card service contract and deactivate the card by contacting the Company or Partner through the Korea Travel Card App or the customer center.
Article 7 (Card Limits and Usage Restrictions)
① The card’s face value and usage limits are determined by the Company’s policy within the limits set by the Electronic Financial Transactions Act and other applicable laws. Members can only use the card within the specified face value and usage limits.② The Company will provide members with information regarding the card’s payment limits and remaining balance through the product details in the Korea Travel Card App and website.
Article 8 (Collection and Correction of Transaction Information)
① In accordance with applicable laws or with the member’s consent, the Company may collect and store the minimum necessary transaction information, such as card number, transaction date and time, transaction amount, terminal information, and merchant information, to settle, verify, and correct any errors in the transaction between the member and the merchant.② Members can check their transaction history through the Korea Travel Card App.
③ If a member discovers an error in their transaction history, they may request a correction from the Company or Partner. The Company will review the error and inform the member of the result in writing, by phone, or via email within two weeks of receiving the correction request. If the member requests written notification, the Company will send the result in writing.
Article 9 (Disputes Regarding Card Usage Fees)
① If a member or their legal guardian has an objection to the card usage fees, they may file a dispute with the customer center within 14 days of the transaction date.② The Company will investigate the dispute and notify the member of the result via text message or KakaoTalk within 15 days. For disputes related to overseas card transactions, the Company will notify the member of the result within 45 to 90 days, depending on the regulations of international brands and transaction types.
③ The member or their legal guardian may also file a dispute with the Financial Supervisory Service separately from the dispute filed with the Company.
④ If the Financial Supervisory Service accepts the member’s dispute, the Company or member will be held responsible according to the dispute resolution. However, if the Company or member disagrees with the resolution and files a civil lawsuit with the competent court, the resolution will not apply.
Article 10 (Benefits Notification and Changes)
① The Company may offer benefits such as card points accumulation based on card usage and will specify the details, duration, and usage conditions of the benefits in the product details of the Korea Travel Card App, website, or other promotional materials sent with the card.② The Company may not change the benefits during the benefit period, except in the following cases. However, changes that enhance members’ rights or reduce their obligations are exempt:
1. When benefits must be changed due to unavoidable circumstances such as the temporary closure, bankruptcy, or operational crisis of a partner, sudden changes in the financial environment, natural disasters, or other similar reasons.
2. When a partner unilaterally notifies the Company of changes to benefits despite the Company’s efforts to maintain them. However, if similar benefits can be provided through another partner, this will not apply.
3. If the benefit period ends or a change as described in item 2 occurs, the Company or Partner will notify members at least one month in advance of the date of the new benefit application and the details of the changes via the Korea Travel Card App, website, and text messages or KakaoTalk.
Article 11 (Card Loss, Theft, etc.)
① If a member loses the card or it is stolen, they must immediately report it to the Korea Travel Card App or through the contact information below: - Kona I Customer Center: 1899-4118② Once the Company receives a report of card loss or theft, it is liable for any damages caused to the member by third-party use of the card from the time the report is made.
③ The Company is responsible for compensating the member for any damages caused by the following incidents:
1. Incidents caused by the forgery or alteration of the card.
2. Incidents occurring during the electronic transmission or processing of contract execution or transaction instructions.
3. Incidents caused by the use of access media obtained through unauthorized access to electronic devices or networks under the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection.
④ The Company may hold the member partially or fully responsible for any damages caused by the following incidents:
1. If the member lends or delegates the use of the card to a third party or provides the card as collateral (except in cases where the card is transferred or provided as collateral under the Electronic Financial Transactions Act).
2. If the member discloses or exposes card information despite knowing or being able to easily know that a third party could use the card without authorization.
3. If the member refuses to comply with the Company’s additional security measures for electronic financial transactions as required under Clause 1, Article 6 of the Electronic Financial Transactions Act, resulting in an incident described in Clause 3, Article 9 of the same Act.
4. If the member engages in any of the following actions concerning media, tools, or information used for additional security measures under item 3, resulting in an incident described in Clause 3, Article 9 of the Electronic Financial Transactions Act:
a) Disclosing, exposing, or neglecting the information.
b) Lending or delegating the use of the media or tools to a third party, or providing them as collateral or transferring them to a third party.
Article 12 (Effectiveness and Amendments of the Terms and Conditions)
① The Company and Partner will make these terms and conditions available to members on the Korea Travel Card App screen or through a separate link or pop-up window. If requested by a member, a copy of the terms will be provided in accordance with the method stipulated by the Electronic Financial Supervisory Regulations, along with an explanation of the terms.② The Company may amend these terms and conditions within the scope that does not violate the Regulation of Standardized Contracts Act, the Electronic Financial Transactions Act, or other applicable laws.
③ When amending these terms and conditions, the Company will notify members of the effective date and reason for the amendment by posting the revised terms and conditions at least one month before the effective date in the manner specified in Clause 1 and by notifying members directly. If the terms and conditions are amended urgently due to legal changes, the revised terms will be posted and notified for at least one month.
④ If a member does not express any objection by the business day before the effective date of the amended terms and conditions, after the Company has clearly notified the member that failure to object will be considered agreement to the amended terms, the member will be deemed to have agreed to the amendments.
Article 13 (Matters Not Specified in the Terms and Conditions)
For matters not specified in these terms and conditions, the Company’s Electronic Financial Transaction Terms and Conditions, related laws, and general commercial practices will apply.Article 14 (Management of Prepaid Charges and Related Disclosures)
① The Company must segregate the prepaid charges of members from its own assets and either entrust them to an external financial institution or secure them with a guarantee insurance policy.② The Company must check daily whether the total amount of prepaid charges matches the total amount of funds currently in operation and must disclose the size of the prepaid charges, the details of the trust, the status of guarantee insurance, and the insured amount on its website (https://konai.com) within 10 days of the end of each quarter.
③ In any of the following cases, the Company must prioritize the repayment of prepaid charges to users through the trust company or insurance company. In such cases, the Company must announce the fact, along with the payment time, place, and other related matters, in at least two daily newspapers and on its website within one month.
1. If the registration of the Company is canceled or revoked.
2. If the Company is dissolved or ceases the business of issuing and managing prepaid electronic payment instruments.
3. If the Company is declared bankrupt.
4. If the Company is ordered to suspend the issuance and management of prepaid electronic payment instruments.
5. If any other reason equivalent to items 1 to 4 occurs.
④ The Company must designate the beneficiaries of the trusted prepaid charges as the members.
⑤ The Company must promptly trust the changes in users and funds that occurred that day by the next day.
⑥ If, due to unavoidable reasons, the Company manages part of the prepaid charges directly rather than through a trust, the Company must purchase a guarantee insurance policy for the entire amount of the directly managed charges and must still manage the directly managed prepaid charges as safe assets.
Supplementary Provisions
These terms and conditions will take effect on June 1, 2024.Article 1 (Purpose)
These terms and conditions of use (hereinafter referred to as "these terms") apply to individuals and companies using [the Korea Travel Card Service] provided by Red Table, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company", which may fall under the category of 'Affiliates' in the case of Red Table's own service). The purpose is to stipulate the conditions, procedures, rights, obligations, and other necessary matters needed for the use of [the Korea Travel Card Service]. Red Table is the entity operating [the Korea Travel Card Service] and the payment system is operated by Aiurora Co., Ltd. (Aiurora electronic finance business registration number 02-002-00079). The issuance of [the Korea Travel Card Service] is conducted through Namanet kiosk, and member information, payment information, etc. are shared and operated by both Red Table and Aiurora. Please note that the terms and conditions of electronic financial transactions follow the terms and conditions of electronic financial transactions of Aiurora Co., Ltd., the operator of the payment system.[Namane Electronic Financial Transaction Terms and Conditions]
Article 2 (Definition)
① The definitions of the terms used in these terms and conditions are as follows:"Prepaid electronic payment means" refers to a token or information about that token, which has transferable monetary value stored electronically, and can be used to purchase goods or services from a third party other than the issuer and pay for them (However, the scope of goods or services that can be purchased is more than two industries).
The [Korea Travel Card] is a prepaid electronic payment method. The limit of prepaid electronic payment methods is 500,000 won, and is divided into named and unnamed. a. Unnamed: A prepaid electronic payment method issued without real name verification or not linked to a deposit account. b. Named: A prepaid electronic payment method issued with real name verification or linked to a deposit account.
The access medium of the [Korea Travel Card] is an electronic card. "Access medium" refers to means or information used to instruct transactions or ensure the truthfulness and accuracy of users and transaction details in electronic financial transactions.
[Korea Travel Card Service] (hereinafter referred to as "Service") refers to a comprehensive service such as card issuance, charging, payment, refund, usage history inquiry, etc., provided by the company so that users can purchase goods and services using the [Korea Travel Card] as a payment medium. a. Card Issuance: Users can apply for or purchase an electronic card issued by the company when signing up or through external distribution channels to receive a card. b. Charging: Refers to storing the monetary value recognized as cash on the [Korea Travel Card] to use for purchasing goods and services, etc. Users can charge by registering the electronic card they own in the [Korea Travel Card] application or charging it at the [Namanet Card] kiosk. c. Payment: Refers to the act of purchasing goods or services with the [Korea Travel Card] at a franchise of the company or an affiliate. Users can pay with an electronic card at a franchise up to the charged balance. d. Refund: Refers to returning the balance recorded on the [Korea Travel Card] to the user according to the method and procedure set by the company. The charge of the transportation card can be refunded in full to the [Korea Travel Card]. The refund method is divided into account refund and charge cancellation. 1). "Account refund": Refers to transferring the corresponding amount of the balance of the owned [Korea Travel Card] to a bank account. 2). "Charge cancellation": If the [Korea Travel Card] balance is not used within one week after charging, all of the balance is cancelled. e. Usage history inquiry: Users can check the charge, payment, and refund history by registering the electronic card they own in the [Korea Travel Card] application.
"[Korea Travel Card] Service User (hereinafter referred to as "User")" refers to a person who has been granted the right to use the [Korea Travel Card] and / or "Affiliate Service" by completing the terms and conditions agreement and the terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as "Affiliate Terms") provided by "Affiliates" according to the standards set by the "Company" and / or "Affiliates". It is divided into members and non-members.
"Member" refers to a person who installs the application on a mobile device or the like in accordance with the procedure set by the company, agrees to these terms and conditions, enters the information requested by the company, and is approved for membership to use the service. Members can use all services of the [Korea Travel Card] application.
"Non-member" refers to a person who purchases the [Korea Travel Card] after agreeing to these terms and conditions at the kiosk, or installs the application and agrees to these terms and conditions, and purchases or acquires an electronic card without becoming a member to use the services provided by the company. Non-members cannot use the card management service in the [Korea Travel Card] application and can check the service guide.
"[Korea Travel Card] Application (hereinafter referred to as "Application")" refers to application software operated by the company or an affiliate so that users can use the services provided by the company on mobile devices or the like.
"[Korea Travel Card] Affiliate (hereinafter referred to as "Affiliate")" refers to facilities or businesses that apply for affiliate membership under the [Korea Travel Card] affiliate terms, enter into a franchise agreement with the company, and provide payment transaction or charge transaction services to users.
"[Korea Travel Card] Reward" refers to the thing that is provided free of charge to members in accordance with the company's policy when members use the service and charge more than a certain amount or participate in promotional events. Members can exchange rewards accumulated over a certain standard for prizes, or use them when entering events.
"Additional Services" refer to functions provided to members within the application, including card product purchase and gifting, balance transfer, automatic recharge, loss report, temporary lock, registration of recharge card/account, refund request, income deduction request, and remittance.
"Loss Reporting Service": refers to a service that stops the use of the [Korea Travel Card] owned by the user by reporting the fact of loss or theft of the [Korea Travel Card] in a manner set by the company through the application or customer center. The company is responsible for compensating the user for the damage caused by a third party using the [Korea Travel Card] after the fact of loss or theft of the [Korea Travel Card] has been reported by the user.
"Temporary Lock Service": refers to a service that temporarily locks the use of the [Korea Travel Card] owned by the user through the application, and the [Korea Travel Card] that has been temporarily locked cannot use the recharge and payment services. Customers can unlock the [Korea Travel Card] to use the charge and payment services as before.
"Income Deduction Application Service": refers to a service that processes the application for income deduction for the card usage amount in a manner set by the company through the customer center.
"Online Mall": refers to a service that allows you to purchase cards and products provided by the company or affiliates through the application.
"Balance Transfer": refers to a service that allows a member who owns multiple [Korea Travel Cards] to transfer all or part of the balance between the [Korea Travel Cards].
"Automatic Recharge": refers to a service that connects a payment method to recharge the [Korea Travel Card] through the application, and automatically recharges a certain amount when the balance changes to the set standard amount or less or on a set date every month.
"Remittance Service": refers to a service that allows a member to send all or part of the balance of the [Korea Travel Card] they own to another person's [Korea Travel Card] or a separately designated account.
"Namanet Kiosk (hereinafter referred to as "Kiosk")" provides a service that allows you to purchase a card offline or recharge the card. Customers can tag the card on the kiosk to check or recharge the balance.
"Affiliate" refers to a business operator who enters into a separate service contract with the company, such as a card issuance partnership agreement or application rental contract (ASP contract), to conduct the affiliate's business using the services provided by the company. The services provided through the affiliate are as follows:
"Transportation Card Service": refers to a service that allows you to pay a transportation agency with whom you have entered into a contract through an electronic transportation card, or use and manage related services (charging, payment, etc.) at online and offline affiliates of other "affiliates".
② For terms used in these terms and conditions that are not defined in this clause, they shall follow the relevant laws, electronic financial transaction terms of use, and affiliate terms, and otherwise, they shall follow general customs.
Article 3 (Effect and Change of Terms)
① These terms apply to users who purchase and use the [Korea Travel Card] in a legitimate manner.② Upon request by the user, the company delivers a copy of these terms to the user by electronic document transmission, e-mail, facsimile, mail, or direct delivery (hereinafter referred to as "methods such as electronic document transmission").
③ If the company intends to change these terms, it will specify the effective date of the changed terms and the reason for the change, and post it on the application screen, etc. from one month before the effective date. However, in case of emergency changes to the terms due to amendments to laws, etc., the changed terms will be posted on the application screen, etc. for more than one month, and the users will be notified afterwards through methods such as electronic document transmission.
④ In case of change of the terms, the company can individually notify the users by methods such as e-mail, mobile phone text message transmission, or PUSH delivery (hereinafter referred to as "methods such as e-mail delivery"). In cases where individual notification to the user is difficult, such as when the user did not provide contact information or did not notify the company of the changed contact information, it is considered that individual notification has been made by posting it on the application screen, etc.
⑤ When the company posts or notifies in accordance with this clause, it notifies that the user can terminate the contract within the business day before the effective date of the changed terms from the date when the details of the change of the terms are posted or notified, and if the user does not object to the details of the change of the terms, it is considered that the user has consented to the details of the change. The user can stop using the service and terminate the service use contract with the company if the user does not agree to the changed terms in accordance with this clause. However, if the user does not explicitly express to the company the intention to refuse the change of the terms by the day before the effective date of the changed terms, it is considered that the user has agreed to the change of the terms, and the changed terms are applied.
⑥ The agreement and amendment procedure for the "Affiliate Terms" and other related matters follow the rules set by the respective "Affiliate".
Article 4 (Provisions Outside the Terms)
For matters not specified in these terms, the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions, the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc., the Electronic Financial Transactions Act, the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc., the Use and Protection of Credit Information Act, the Communications Secrets Protection Act, the Telecommunications Business Act, and other related laws, other terms agreed between the company and the user, detailed usage guidelines for each service set by the company, and common customs shall apply.Article 5 (Application for Service Use)
① The service contract applies to users who purchase and use the [Korea Travel Card], etc. in a legitimate manner.② The company may withhold approval or cancel the service contract afterwards in the event of a service application that falls under any of the following items: In case of technical, security, or facility problems that make it impossible to provide the service In case of applying falsely, such as using someone else's name instead of one's own If you omit or misidentify the details to be filled in on the application form required by the company In case a user who has been suspended from use by the company voluntarily terminates the use contract during the suspension period and applies for re-use If there is a history of service termination due to a violation of these terms in the past If the conditions for application set by the company are not met ③ Users can apply for use for each additional service provided by the company, and the application procedure and qualifications for the user's application follow the instructions on the application screen. ④ Depending on their qualifications, users may have restrictions on the use of individual services, and the qualifications for use and the scope of service use may change depending on service changes such as changes in the name of the user, termination, etc., including mobile devices including mobile phones.
Article 6 (Service Use, Change, and Interruption)
① Users can immediately apply for and use the service according to the procedure set by the company and the qualifications granted by the company.② The use of the service is based on the principle of being available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. However, the company may limit, change, and stop some or all of the services to users in the following cases: If there is a problem with the normal use of the service due to power outages, equipment failures, and surges in usage Inevitable cases due to equipment inspection, maintenance, and development for the normal provision of services If the service cannot be maintained due to reasons such as termination of contracts with affiliates or business partners of the company, business circumstances of the company, or legal obstacles If there are other force majeure reasons such as natural disasters or national emergencies ③ In case of service restriction, change, and interruption, the company notifies users of the reasons, timing, and duration in advance through methods such as posting on the application screen. However, if it occurs due to reasons beyond the company's control, such as equipment failures without the operator's intention or negligence, and it is impossible to notify in advance, the company will notify afterwards.
Article 7 (Charge and Recharge)
① Users can charge the value by providing cash or monetary value recognized as the same as cash by the company (such as account transfer, card) and directly storing it in the [Korea Travel Card] through the application or offline affiliates, and the company or a third party designated by the company may charge a certain usage fee when providing the charge service.② Depending on the affiliate of the [Korea Travel Card], the charging service may be restricted, or the charging function may be restricted depending on the type of affiliated service.
③ In case of recharging the [Korea Travel Card] due to the user's fault, the user bears the cost within the actual expense.
④ The company can provide automatic recharge service to users in the following ways: Recharge the amount designated by the user's previously selected payment method when the balance of the [Korea Travel Card] drops below the minimum balance specified by the user Recharge the amount designated by the user's previously selected payment method on a specific date specified by the user (However, if there is a limit on the charge amount of the [Korea Travel Card] according to the company's policy, the charge is limited by this.)
⑤ The company does not pay interest on the charge amount of the [Korea Travel Card].
Article 8 (Remittance)
① Users can remit all or part of the [Korea Travel Card] balance to a third party (another member or non-member) within the usage limit of this agreement.② When remitting the [Korea Travel Card] balance, members must accurately enter the information of the other party (another member or non-member) as required by the company. The company is not responsible for problems caused by incorrect input of this information. However, you can use the misdirected remittance return procedure in Article 16-2.
③ The company may allow the other party (the recipient of the [Korea Travel Card] balance) to confirm the sender's name when remitting the [Korea Travel Card] balance.
④ Members can use the [Korea Travel Card] balance as a payment method for purchasing products or services at the franchisees presented by the company if allowed by the contract with the respective franchisee. The company informs members of the information about franchisees where they can make payments using the [Korea Travel Card] balance in the method specified in Article 6 of this agreement.
Article 9 (Agreement and Withdrawal of Direct Debit)
① When agreeing to a direct debit, users must provide consent through an electronic document in accordance with the method and requirements provided by the company.② The company provides a method of consent through an electronic document that meets the requirements set out in the electronic financial supervision regulations, and submits the consent details received from users to the Financial Payment Center and the relevant financial institutions, etc. for the execution of direct debit.
③ Users can request the company to withdraw the consent in accordance with the provisions of the preceding paragraph until the withdrawal record is entered in the user's account ledger according to the company's transaction instruction. Users can withdraw direct debit consent by canceling the registration of the account registered with the company through the application. However, users cannot object to the withdrawal that occurred before the expression of the intent to withdraw.
④ Persons under the age of 14 cannot use the direct debit withdrawal consent.
Article 10 (Refunds, Validity Period, etc.)
① The company can set the validity period for the [Korea Travel Card] as follows, and users can use the [Korea Travel Card] only within the validity period set by the company. For electronic cards a. 5 years from the date of issue② Users extend the validity period as follows. For electronic cards a. During the validity period, users cannot apply to the company for an extension of the validity period. Before the expiry of the validity period, the company informs users that the expiry is imminent, confirms the renewal intention, and can reissue the card at the user's request.
③ The company will notify users of the approaching expiry date, how to purchase a card, and how to transfer the balance, etc., through the application, etc., including a notice 7 days before the expiry date.
④ The company refunds the entire balance of the [Korea Travel Card] without deducting fees in the following cases. However, if it does not fall under the following cases and is due to the user's simple change of mind or a request for a refund of part of the balance, the company can refuse to refund or deduct fees before refunding. When requesting a full refund of the charge/purchase amount within 7 days from the date of charge/purchase of the [Korea Travel Card] When it is impossible to use the [Korea Travel Card] due to reasons such as natural disasters, making it difficult for franchisees to provide goods or services When the franchisee cannot provide goods or services due to a defect in the [Korea Travel Card] After using more than 60% of the balance of the [Korea Travel Card] that was normally purchased or recharged at the point of purchase or the final recharge point, when requesting a refund of the remaining balance
⑤ The balance charged on the transportation card can be fully transferred to the [Korea Travel Card] for a refund. If you get a refund of the balance charged on the transportation card directly from the partner, the refund conditions and methods follow the partner's terms and conditions.
⑥ Refunds may be limited in cases such as equipment inspections, poor communication lines, stabilization and maintenance work, technical and equipment problems, or when the refund is deemed for cash liquidity purposes. In this case, the company notifies users of separate refund procedures and methods through the application screen or customer center.
⑦ [Korea Travel Card] provided free of charge through events, etc., are excluded from the refund target, and are not included in the calculation of the usage amount in subparagraph 4 of paragraph 4 of this Article. Also, when the company refunds the balance of the [Korea Travel Card] to the user, the balance of the [Korea Travel Card] provided free of charge expires when the validity period expires.
⑧ For [Korea Travel Card] whose validity period has expired but the statute of limitations has not completed, users can request a return of 90% of the [Korea Travel Card] balance from the company.
⑨ The company is not responsible for any damages caused by the user incorrectly specifying their refund application account.
⑩ If the validity period of the [Korea Travel Card] has expired or the user has deleted the [Korea Travel Card] or terminated the service usage contract, it is not possible to process the cancellation and refund of previous usage histories. However, the company notifies users of this fact before deleting the card or terminating the service usage contract.
⑪ If 5 years have passed from the day the user purchased or recharged the [Korea Travel Card], the purchase and recharge amount will reach the statute of limitations, and the user cannot request the company for a [Korea Travel Card] refund, balance return, or provision of goods or services.
Article 11 (Limitation, Suspension, and Termination of Service)
① The company may limit or suspend the user's use of the service and may terminate the service contract with the user by notifying in advance through email, mobile text message, etc., if the user falls under any of the following items. However, in urgent cases, the company may terminate the service unilaterally and then notify the user. In case the user uses the service with other people's personal information or interferes with other people's use of the service. In case the user uses the service for abnormal purposes such as cash transactions. In case the user violates the obligations stipulated in these terms and conditions and does not stop violating actions even after receiving the company's correction request or sanctions. In case the user acquires or uses the [Korea Travel Card] in a way that the company does not recognize.② The user can apply for termination of the service contract according to the termination procedure set by the company. However, when the service contract is terminated, benefits (rewards, coupons, etc.) held by the user for free will be extinguished according to the company's policy. Benefits (rewards, coupons, etc.) held by the user for a fee can be terminated after the refund process.
③ If a member who has terminated the service contract wishes to rejoin, rejoining may be impossible for a certain period according to the company's policy, and benefits (rewards, coupons, etc.) held before the termination of the service contract are not connected to the new member account.
④ If a member repeatedly withdraws and rejoins for an unjust or abnormal purpose, rejoining may be impossible according to the company's policy.
Article 12 (Use and Termination of Additional Services)
① The detailed contents, subscription procedures, usage fees and conditions, etc. of additional services are guided by each additional service on the application screen.② The start and available time of each additional service may vary, and the company notifies the user of the service available time, etc. through announcements on the application screen or guides for each additional service.
③ The usage fee for each additional service can be changed due to cost increases and other reasons, and the company informs the user of the changes through announcements on the application screen or guides for each additional service.
④ The user can apply for the cancellation of individual additional services according to the cancellation procedure set by the company, and the company immediately processes the user's service cancellation request unless there are special circumstances.
Article 13 (Company's Obligations)
① Unless there are special circumstances, the company is obligated to continuously and stably provide the service requested by the user in accordance with the provisions of these terms and conditions.② The company complies with related laws and regulations such as the law on the regulation of terms and conditions, the law on consumer protection in e-commerce, the electronic financial transactions act, the act on the promotion of information and communication network utilization and information protection, the law on the use and protection of credit information, the telecommunications secrecy protection act, and the telecommunications business act.
③ If the company has a matter to notify the user, it can notify individually through methods such as wired or email transmission. However, in the case of notifying an unspecified number of users, the company can replace individual notifications by posting on the application screen, etc.
④ The company is responsible for compensating for the damage caused to the user after the loss or theft of the [Korea Travel Card] or mobile device, etc., which are access media, has been reported and a third party uses that access media.
⑤ The company is responsible for compensating for the damage caused to the user in case of an accident caused by forgery or alteration of the access media, an accident occurring in the process of electronically transmitting or processing contract conclusion or transaction instructions, an accident caused by the use of the access media obtained by invading the information and communication network according to the 'Act on Promotion of Information and Communication Network Utilization and Information Protection' Article 2, Paragraph 1, Item 1, by false or other fraudulent methods.
⑥ Notwithstanding Paragraph 5, the company may have the user bear all or part of the responsibility for damages incurred to the user due to any of the following reasons. When a user lends an access medium to a third party, entrusts the use of it, or provides it for transfer or security purposes. When a user leaks, exposes, or neglects his or her access medium despite knowing or being able to easily know that a third party can conduct electronic financial transactions using the user's access medium without authorization. In case of damage to a user who is a corporation (excluding small businesses pursuant to Article 2, Paragraph 2 of the 「Basic Small and Medium Business Act」), the company establishes security procedures to prevent accidents, and is reasonably required, such as strict compliance. When you have fulfilled your duty of care The company requested additional security measures for electronic financial transactions in order to enhance security in addition to the confirmation pursuant to Article 6, Paragraph 1 of the Electronic Financial Transactions Act, but the user refused the request of the company without justifiable reasons, and thus Article 9, Article 1 of the Electronic Financial Transactions Act. In case of an accident referred to in subparagraph 3 An accident pursuant to Article 9, Paragraph 1, Subparagraph 3 of the Electronic Financial Transactions Act by a user engaging in any of the following acts with respect to the media, means, or information used for additional security measures pursuant to subparagraph 4 If it occurs Leaked, exposed, or neglected to a third party The act of lending or entrusting its use to a third party Transferred to a third party or provided for the purpose of collateral
⑦ Despite Paragraphs 5 and 6, if there are other laws that can be applied more favorably to the user, the company will prioritize and apply them.
Article 14 (User's Obligations)
① Users must provide or register accurate information that matches the facts when providing or registering necessary information for the use of the service.② Users are responsible for managing the account and password registered for the use of the service.
③ Users must not engage in the following actions when using the service: Providing false information when applying for or changing the use of the service Impersonating others by using their personal information and falsely stating relationships with others Damaging the reputation of others or causing them harm Distributing information that violates laws, public order, and good morals to others Circulating false information with the intention of gaining financial benefits for oneself or others, or causing harm to others Registering or distributing data infected with a computer virus that causes malfunction of service-related equipment, destruction of information, and system confusion Unauthorized use or leakage of personal information of others obtained in relation to the use of the service Other actions that violate laws or are unfair
④ Users must comply with relevant laws, the provisions of these terms and conditions, the provisions of other agreements made with the company, service usage guidelines and precautions announced on the application screen, and other matters notified by the company, and must not interfere with the company's business.
⑤ Users cannot conduct business activities using the service, and the company is not responsible for any disadvantages caused by this. If this causes harm to a third party, the user may be held responsible.
⑥ Users must cooperate with the company to ensure the safe provision of the service, and if the company discovers a violation of these terms by the user and requests the user to explain the violation, the user must actively respond to the company's request.
⑦ If the company suffers any disadvantage or damage from a third party due to illegal activities or violations of these terms by the user while using the service, the user may be liable for the damage caused to the company.
Article 15 (Provision of Information and Advertisement Placement)
① The Company may post various information related to the Company's services or advertisements of the Company and its affiliates on the application screen or other service screens. The Company may provide advertising information and personalized information to members via text messages or in PUSH format, provided that this is only offered in cases where there is prior consent to receive advertising information or as permitted by law.② If a user utilizes the advertisements posted on the service screen or communicates or transacts with advertisers through methods such as participating in promotional activities via the service, this constitutes a legal relationship between the user and the advertiser, and is not related to the Company. If any problems arise between the user and the advertiser, they must be resolved directly between the two parties, and the Company bears no responsibility in relation to this.
Article 16 (Collection and Correction of Transaction History Information)
① In accordance with relevant laws or with the user's consent, the Company may collect and retain the minimum transaction history information necessary for settlement, verification, and error correction of usage fees between the user and the merchant, such as the [Korea Travel Card] card number, transaction date and time, transaction amount, terminal and merchant information, when the user uses the [Korea Travel Card] to purchase goods or use services.② Users can check their [Korea Travel Card] transaction history through the "Transaction History Inquiry Service" on the application screen, etc., and non-members may have limited access to transaction history. If an anonymous [Korea Travel Card] user or non-member wishes to check their transaction details, the Company may require them to complete a customer identification procedure and a separate form.
③ If a user finds an error in the transaction history they have checked, they can request a correction through the contact information listed in Article 20, Paragraph 1 of these Terms and Conditions.
④ The Company will review the transaction history and notify the user of the results within 2 weeks from the date of receiving a request for correction of transaction history errors from the user.
Article 16-2 (Matters related to mistaken transfers)
① If a member mistakenly enters or writes down the recipient's financial institution, account number, etc., causing funds such as prepaid electronic payment methods to be transferred to the recipient (hereinafter referred to as 'mistaken transfer'), the member can notify the company and request the return of the mistaken transfer amount through the company or the recipient's financial institution.② The company must inform the member of the contact with the recipient, the recipient's intention to return, the reason if the recipient does not intend to return, the processing result or progress of the member's request within 15 days from the day the member notified the company of the 'mistaken transfer'.
③ If the recipient does not return the funds despite the request for return of the mistaken transfer through the company or the recipient's financial institution, the member can apply for the use of the mistaken transfer return support system according to Chapter 5 of the Depositor Protection Act (support for return of mistaken transfers). (Applications can be made for mistaken transfers that occurred after the implementation date of the revised Depositor Protection Act, July 6, 2021) However, transactions where the Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation cannot acquire the actual name of the recipient, such as transfers via contact information, transfers between SNS members, etc., are limited in applying for return support.
④ If the Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation requests information such as the reason for the non-return of the mistaken transfer recipient, the actual name, address and contact information, and the status of the mistaken transfer occurrence for the smooth performance of the mistaken transfer return support work, the company must comply unless there is a legitimate reason.
⑤ If the member's application for mistaken transfer return support through the Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation falls under any of the following, the support procedure of the Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation may be suspended according to related laws. If the member applies for return support by false or unfair means If it is confirmed by objective data that it is not a mistaken transfer If a lawsuit related to the mistaken transfer for which return support was applied before the application date is in progress or has been completed In other cases recognized by the Deposit Insurance Committee
Article 17 (Denial of agency and guarantee)
① The company does not represent the member or a third party in transactions between the member and a third party. Unless otherwise specified in the individual terms and conditions of the related service, no action of the company shall be considered as representing a third party or a member.② If the company allows the use of a third party's service through [Korea Travel Card], the provider of the service is the third party, and the company provides a tool to deliver the information provided by the third party to the member. The services provided by the third party can be used only by members who have gone through the agreement process for related additional terms and conditions through [Korea Travel Card].
③ The company does not guarantee the existence and authenticity of the transaction intention of the member or the third party related to the information exchanged through the service, the quality, completeness, safety, legality, truthfulness of the information provided by the third party, non-infringement of others' rights, and the truthfulness or legality of the information provided by the third party and the member.
Article 18 (Protection and Handling of User's Personal Information)
① The company complies with all matters related to the collection, use, and provision of user's personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act, Electronic Financial Transactions Act, Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, and the Act on the Use and Protection of Credit Information. The company strives to protect the user's personal information and credit information.② The company may use the user's personal information and service-related information collected with the user's consent at the time of the service contract to provide services optimized for the user's needs and convenience, and to conduct marketing for the user's benefits such as new product or event information, surveys, etc. However, if the company wishes to use the information beyond the scope of the user's consent or provide it to a third party, it must obtain prior consent from the user. In this case, the user may refuse the company's request for consent.
③ The company is not responsible for information exposed to the outside due to the user's fault.
④ The company may provide the user's personal information to affiliates or entrust it to a business agency if necessary to provide quality services, in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act and other related laws, after obtaining the user's consent.
Article 19 (Protection of Intellectual Property Rights)
① All intellectual property rights, including copyrights, patent rights, etc., related to the text, design, and service content posted on the application screen provided to the user, are owned by the company and its affiliates and partners.② Users may not use the information obtained through the service for profit-making purposes such as publishing, broadcasting, distributing, reproducing, etc., without the prior consent of the company, and may not provide or allow it to be used by third parties.
③ Users may be liable for damages arising from the infringement of the intellectual property rights of the company or its affiliates and partners.
Article 20 (Disclaimer)
① In case of a dispute arising between the user and the affiliate due to the service provided by the affiliate, the company has no obligation to intervene and is not responsible for any damages resulting from the dispute. Also, the company does not involve in transactions of goods, etc., between the affiliate and the user, and is not responsible for them.② The final judgment on the services and information obtained through the service provided by the company is to be made by the user, and the responsibility for this lies with the user. The company is not responsible for any damages arising from this.
Article 21 (Dispute Handling and Mediation)
① Users can request dispute resolution such as expressing opinions and complaints related to the service, and claims for damages through the customer service representative posted on the application screen or through the contact information listed in Article 20, Paragraph 1.② If the user requests the company to handle the dispute, the company will inform the user of the result of the investigation or processing within 15 days from the date of receipt of the request.
③ If the user has objections to the company's dispute resolution results, they can apply for dispute mediation related to the company's service use to the Financial Dispute Mediation Committee of the Financial Supervisory Service pursuant to Article 51 of the Act on the Establishment of the Financial Services Commission, or to the Consumer Dispute Mediation Committee of the Korea Consumer Agency pursuant to Article 31, Paragraph 1 of the Basic Consumer Act.
Article 22 (Resolution of Complaints and Jurisdiction)
① If users have legitimate opinions or requests related to the use of the service (such as reporting lost items, inquiring about refunds, reporting faulty cards, etc.), they can express their opinions through the following contact information of the company.Name: Red Table

② If the company receives a user's complaint related to the service, it will promptly handle it, and if prompt handling is difficult, it will notify the user of the reason and schedule for handling.
③ If a dispute arises between the company and the user related to the use of the service, the company and the user will sincerely negotiate to resolve the dispute. However, if the dispute cannot be resolved despite the negotiation, both parties can file a lawsuit in the court of jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.
